Ask yourself, how did your last travel experience make you feel? Were you inspired, relaxed, invigorated, free? This is what we focus on and, we hope, is most important to you and us – the experience.
Whether you are on tour, a cruise, backpacking through Europe, or staying at an inclusive resort – how did you feel when you came home.
For example, when our son had his bar mitzvah, we took 26 family members and friends, who were either Jewish or Christian, on a 12-day adventure around Israel. Each day was full of sightseeing, shopping, and eating.
Key moments, like sailing on the Sea of Galilee, praying at the Wall in the Kotel, standing on Masada, floating in the Dead Sea, or walking along the Via Dolorosa, triggered emotions within each of us. Everyone said that this was the experience/trip of a lifetime…never to be repeated. This is what travel is all about – the experience!
Meet the Team – Your Go-To Travel Advisors
We are Janet and Stuart, and we have a passion for travel. I am the planner, while Stuart is the practical thinker always finding ways to make travel affordable. Our sons, Elijah and Aaron, and our daughter-in-law, Karly, help share in contributing to our blog as we travel together, or separately, throughout the world.
Immersing ourselves in a destination, and living like a local, adds so much to the adventure. Experiencing the culture, the food, and the people is what travel is all about to us.
Education and the need to continuously learn is important to us too. I completed the Travel Advisor Proficiency (TAP) course. Monthly I attend numerous travel advisor webinars to expand my knowledge in the travel industry.

In 2024, we took our first riverboat cruise down the Rhine, Main and Danube, starting in Amsterdam and ending in Budapest.
Each year, we plan a family trip, during the Christmas holidays, for 12 to 20 family members. We have cruised together and rented homes in the U.S. and Europe, all while exploring the visited regions.
In 2006, we purchased a home in Southern Italy and, in 2011, a home in Southwest Florida. Our stories about these adventures, are shared in our Naples to Napoli page.
